You do realize that those numbers are 1/2 based on a game played in a typhoon right?

Exactly what I thought when I saw those totally useless stats. Kind of like comparing a Ferrari racing a McLaren Mercedes in F1 to a Yugo racing a turtle at Riverside.

I actually have driven a Yugo. Slower than the speed of smell. Unsafe at any speed.

As for the game-playing time for everybody!

Come on guys, these are the numbers. Just the numbers - make of them what you want. But be assured, SIU is a pretty good FCS team & will come in here as if this is their super bowl. Our guys will have to have their heads & hearts in the game, clean up some execution issues & execute a good game plan to win & win convincingly.

RE: Tigers-SIU By The Numbers
Not only are these numbers a waste of time because of the hurricane

SIU's numbers are a composite of a 55-3 win against MVSU, that's Mississippi Valley State, and a 35-17 win at SEMO.

In fact, because of the weird ULM game and no Georgia State game, our stats will look worse than reality all season

Rest assured SIU is a decent FCS team and will get destroyed if Memphis plays half as good as they are capable.

Realize Memphis absolutely whipped ULM in that first game other than one blown assignment until we started emptying the benches. If that happens again, I won't be the least bit upset, but I bet we don't call off the dogs until we are up by at least 35.
