Rice starting QB out for FIU. Although our backup isn't much worse than the starter. Leading rusher/receiver doubtful, as are a starting CB, starting FS and starting DE.

Good game? I know it's just a cliche, but nothing in the game I watched was good.

Man.... That game was intense. I was surprised by how well the defenses played. Always fun to watch a conference game come down to essentially the last possession. Good luck Rice the rest of the way!

If both defenses continue to hold opponents to 2TD or less throughout conference play, then there will probably be a rematch in the Conference Championship game.

Both teams added NFL-level defensive coaching talent this year and it is starting to pay dividends.

Remains to be seen of course how well we can shut down the so-called conference favorites... but it could be interesting to see how far a solid defense can take these two squads this year...

We won because of our defense and kicker. Wasn't pretty offensively, but a W on the road to go 2-1 I'll accept it.

Worst play calling from the 9 yard line I have ever seen. We have a 6'4" receiver to throw to. Unbelievable we can't score there.
