At first I was shocked that Cincinnati was relegated to ESPN3. Then it dawned on me that they're the only team facing a G4 opponent.

So UCF/Memphis gets top billing. I like it.

Thank God for the greatness of UCF because without them we would be playing on Nickelodeon Sports Network instead another nationally televised ESPN game.

I'd almost rather be on ESPN3 than CBSSN. Way more carriers for the former than the latter at the moment.

Yeah, but you have to "Go GET" that game. You can't just happen upon it while flipping thought the channels.

Does anyone really do that nowadays anyway?

If your game is on: punch in the channel / go to the sports sections
If your game is not on: How many people actively browse for something anymore? There's always something to do / something else is on, and easily findable. Is browsing all the way to dead end alley that CBSSN is on any different than pulling out your phone / laptop and going to watchespn?

I honestly think that works. Based on the Twitter responses a bunch a random watched out game last week. Saying stuff like "#3 is a beast" or "this is a good game" none were fan's of either team.

Depends on your age. I'm 50 today. I never go to ESPN3 unless I'm looking for my Tigers. But I will scroll the channels after (or before) my team plays and watch whatever looks competitive. Most of the time it's not the top teams (SEC, ACC, etc.) on ESPN or ABC, CBS, etc. IT's the more obscure channels like NBCSN, FoxSports1, etc.

Cbs sports just got more main stream. The streaming services are adding them. I know PS Vue, Google, and others have the station.

You're selling the Tigers short but UCF's history of championship success combined with their recent Fiesta Bowl win holds a lot of weight in the ESPN offices.

LOL03-lmfao. The only weight UCF holds at ESPN is as a paperweight in their discard pile.03-lmfao
