AState at SMU Discussion
SMUers are 2-1 with a blowout win over an FCS, and a blowout win over NTSUNT, who has looked okay this year. They lost to a top 20 TCU team by 3 or 4 scores, but still put up 36 points themselves.

Offensively, both teams enter the game as heavy passing teams that average over 40 points per game, and recently put up over 30 points against P5 competition. Defensively, both teams coming in giving up a lot more yards than they would be happy with, and generally win by forcing turnovers.

As a league, this is a game we need. One of our top programs against decent AAC Competition. However, Chad Morris has them flying and playing well together.

Thoughts?

RE: AState at SMU Discussion
I think if stAte comes out flat like they did Saturday night against UAPB we will get pounded.

Teams tend to play to the level of their competition however. I'm hoping what I saw Saturday was the result of the off week due to Miami cancelling and looking past UAPB, creating the erratic play.

If Sawyer Williams doesn't figure out his case of the yips in the kicking game that could be a deciding factor.
