seeing the smoke from the cannon in this video (but not the noise) after the made field goal reminded me of the first experience of the night with the cannon. Some kid about 9-10 years old was walking past me to go down the stairs to his seat after being at the concession stand. Toledo just scored and the cannon went off as he walked by. All I saw was Coca-Cola flying through the air and eyes as wide as a saucer as he jumped and then ducked down. Must have been his first UT game and the poor guy must have thought a terrorist bomb just went off... I know I should be sympathetic and not laugh, but it was kinda hilarious. Poor kid may never come back to another game.

Dad and daughter sitting next to me. Dad turned and said to her "Get ready, they're going to shoot a cannon!" Girl just laughed. Then levitated about two feet when it went off. Hope she doesn't marry the kid you saw, Moto. Their kids would really be a mess.

Thanks guys. Not too bad for a crappy phone camera. Microphone didn't pick up the cannon sound very well, LOL. Glad the cannon is back, definitely one of the great things about the Glass Bowl.
