Two Questions-Top 25 & Attendance
If SDSU beats Air Force next week they will likely be Top 20. If we then beat them do when touch Top 25. Also with win do we go over 20,000 for Kent State HC game on October 7.

I say we get some votes, but no Top 25. BC will be a bad loss all year. Let's hope Nebraska figures things out and gets on a run.

Going to attend the SDSU game. It is really going to be tough to win this one, but will be fun to give it a run.

IMO 20,000 will be the attendance with good weather. I'm not sure if the SDSU will have an impact on that. The Nebraska game is one of those influential games that can create interest among all fans/almuni because it's f****** NEBRASKA.

HC attendance will be solid even without a win against SD State. It's the last Saturday game so people will go. Unfortunately I don't think we crack the 20,000 mark. It'll probably be 18,000.

It's great to be optimistic and we all want NIU to win, but get serious.
Add the "IF" SDSU beat Air Force to the "IF" the Huskies beat SDSU, along with the existing loss to Boston College and it does not equal "touching" the Top 25.

If NIU beat SDSU they would get a handful of votes , maybe 10 or something.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Homecoming sell out, especially if we are able to get the W at SDSU. Only home game in a 7 week period and final Saturday home game. Then big attendance drop off for 3 weeknight home games in a 3 week period.

If NIU beats a ranked SDSU, then marketing will have an opportunity to pitch this to as many potential fans as possible. Remember we are living in an age of excellent TV and or live streaming coverage. Many fans would much rather watch NIU at home and or listen to Bill Baker on the radio. Am guessing that nearly every school has the same situation. Not to forget : Football is entertainment the weather will play a role.

I don't see 20k happening, even IF NIU defeated a ranked SD St.

Athletics should have had some sort of promo or flash sale for Homecoming tickets (packaged as remaining season tickets) all ready to go IF NIU beat Nebraska.

IMO if something doesn't come out by the end of today its a lost opportunity.

Saw so many tweets over the weekend from alums "so proud" of "their Huskies." Would be nice if they showed their appreciation by getting the lazy ***es to Huskie Stadium.
