OP was correct. SIU had some size on them that seemed to disrupt our flow on both sides of the ball.

Load up on Memphis and the under.

OOPS

On both counts

Yeah. Double thud.
I figured Memphis would score in the 40's....just not that SIU would put up 34.

There was a reason why i looked at this game and declared it a possible trap game. Now others see the reason.

RE: Trap Trap avoid the Trap
I was always outclassed when it came to talent in what ever sport i took part and had to rely on out hustling the other guy and playing harder. I remember how much emotions played a factor in each game and how hard it was to stay on an even keel emotionally. Not getting too high after a win and getting too down after a loss.

Also remember how frustrating it was when you see teammate who were unable to stay on a level emotional keel. You would look at them one game and they look like Blue Chippers and then the next they disappear.

There are always two parts in any sport the physical and the mental. The successful coaches over long period are able to coach both aspects or over whelm the other team with talent that any loss of mental focus is over came.

Snicker.

But thanks for the new information that playing hard matters.

Fans expecting a comfortable win nearly cost us the game...that we won...by two touchdowns.
