That actually explains a lot for me. Hopefully, the new stadium will include a new control room for the scoreboard.

Bid Blue did it before it was "cool" 03-old

The Duck did what the BYU cougar did a few weeks ago. I'm sure it's happened a bunch of times before but no one has documented it like today in the age of social media and viral videos

That was cool and the crowd LOVED it. You think we would have seen it more often.

Do you think the Virginia Zoo would part with a lion for home games? Louisa High School at one time had a lion in a cage at their games. So it's not like it has to do a lion impression of Ralphie the Buffalo at Colorado. Though I'm not saying they shouldn't.

I always thought it would be cool if they built a small lion habitat outside of the stadium and brought the lion over on game day. I would imagine the zoo would say it was too stressful on the animal to cart him a couple miles down the road, but man, how cool would that be. It would be great promo for the zoo as well.

So, this isn't "atmosphere" per se, but am I the only one bothered by the bag checking they started the last couple of years? I don't carry a purse, so I get to walk right in, but I think it is a complete waste of everyone's time. What exactly are they looking for? They made my wife dump her water bottle, which in itself isn't a big deal, but I could have walked in with a fifth of whisky in my pocket and they wouldn't have known, so what is the purpose?

Our "friends" at the bottom of Hampton Blvd. would be protesting that 24/7.

Security theater at its finest.

That would require a huge pocket. I would guess they are looking for weapons.

I’m honestly surprised we are not getting wanded yet. I would expect a larger security perimeter at Foreman 2.0 so they can build in walk through detectors. It all trickles down from the NHL/NFL/MLB/NBA.
