Exclamation To win today...
I'm not feeling great about this game right now...

I think our best strategy to is to go opposite what Coach likes. I think we should slow the game down. We should run a lot and beat the **** out of their defense. We should give our thinned defense as much rest as possible, and we should give Rosen as much time between possessions as possible to help deny the establishment of a rhythm. I'd love us to hold the ball for a long drive while punishing their defense. Then we get a quick stop or turnover to repeat the process. I think Rosen is the type to get frustrated and rush plays, try throws he normally wouldn't, and get even angrier. Our defense might need as much rest as possible.

Just my two cents.

Rosen is going to light us up. Maybe espn sports center highlight kind of game. But if we play relatively mistake free ball, we will be right with them. It may come down to who scores last.

Memphis has to score lots of points and UCLA needs a couple of untimely turnovers...

We don't need to score fast unless Bruins jump to a 14-17 pt. lead.
I'm with Op.
If we can score and take some time, run with the our danger boys.
If UCLA can't stop our running attack, so be it.
Riley will have plenty of opps. to showcase his arm.

Be technically mistake free on each play. UCLA speed will make any mistake costly.

Keep the play in front of us defensively.

Try and make some big plays offensively. We are not going to out run the UCLA LBs much less their defensive backfield as we did against UL-M.

Do not kill ourselves with penalties.

And PRAY HARD that UCLA turnover issues continue. While holding on to ball ourselves.

I thought we were going to kill ourselves-1 15 yard flag at a time! And I was surprised, I think team speed was about even.

Their quarterback was faster than ours. We had several dropped passes early. They had them late.

I was pleasantly surprised. We had better/faster receivers and much faster running backs. Their secondary didn't impress me with their speed. Rosen could definitely outrun ferguson, but then I might could, too. Thanks
And our cheerleaders were much prettier than theirs.

Is it too early to say miller looked like a NFL first rounder?

Not sure about that, but he's proven that his game rises and outperforms in every big game. That's a quality that separates people from the pack.

Rozen DID NOT look like a Heisman candidate on that across-the-body throw. I'm thinking Hart was drooling when he saw that pass.

While watching the louisville game they mentioned Rosen in the trophy race. They circled his 2 interceptions and said, "it could easily have been 4."
