Please join your UT Alumni Association at a pregame party on Saturday, Sept. 23 in Miami when our Rockets take on the University of Miami Hurricanes.

All Rocket fans are welcome to join us at Hard Rock Stadium - Northeast Plaza, 347 Don Shula Dr., Miami Gardens, Fla. 33056.

The pregame party will be from 1-3 p.m., and kickoff is 3:30 p.m. The cost for the pregame party is $45 per person.

The buffet menu will consist of:
Creamy coleslaw
Maytag blue potato salad
Creamy cheese macaroni
Grilled mojo chicken breast
Everglades BBQ pulled pork
Baked beans
Apple cobbler
Lemonade, iced tea and water
Cash bar available

University speakers will be on hand to greet you and share the exciting things happening at UT!

The UT Alumni Association is heavily subsidizing the cost of this event. Please note that this is an NFL stadium.

Tickets for the UT vs. Miami game are available for a limited time at the UT Athletic Ticket Office. To order your tickets, please call 419.530.GOLD (4653) or visit the ticket office. Tickets are $52 for lower-level seats and $27 for upper-level seats. There is a $6 processing fee if tickets are ordered over the phone.

The Alumni Association has reserved a discounted block of rooms at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Miami Airport & Convention Center, 711 N.W. 72nd Ave., Miami, Fla. Rooms are available on Friday and Saturday evenings for $105 plus 13% tax. The hotel offers a complimentary airport shuttle 24/7, complimentary wireless internet access and a 4,000-square-foot fitness center.

A valid credit card is required to guarantee each room. Individual callers must identify their affiliation with the University of Toledo (SRP is UOT) to assure they receive the negotiated rate and group considerations. Unfortunately, rates cannot be changed at check-in or check-out for individuals who failed to identify their affiliation at the time the reservation was requested.
