Almost switched to YouTube live over this. Glad CBS got their head out of their ass.

Playstation Vue is great; Watching CBS Sports through HULU Live TV was the worst experience

Sweet. I've got every channel I want now with PS Vue and my antenna.

I agree, it didn't work out for me to well during my free trial. Same for Fubo TV, I got a bit of buffering and pixelation with them also.
No issue with PS Vue.

If you live in an area with YouTube TV, it's also a pretty great option.
$35/month and it gets you the broadcast channels + ESPN, Fox Sports, CBS sports, NBC Sports, Big 10 Network, and SEC Network.
I don't know if there are any sports channels Vue has that YouTube TV doesn't, but at $35 it's the better price/performance deal.

RE: CBS SportsNet added to PlayStation Vue
Has anyone used this? Any reviews on how it works. My WatchESPN app on Apple TV leaves something to be desired (delays, ads when the game is actually on and missing plays, sometimes not being able to launch a game until a few minutes after it's started, can't pause or rewind, etc.). With that being said, it's better than my chromecast was.
I guess I need a next gen. Apple TV to run it (I have the OG), but would like to hear how the experience is before pulling the trigger.

Used what? PS Vue or a device to run it? I've used the Fire TV (don't use the fire stick) and I have never had issues. I'm sure all the new generation devices are fast. As long as your WiFi is even somewhat decent, you won't have issues. My internet plan is only 25mbs and i'm fine streaming multiple devices.
No idea about Apple tv. My mom had the Roku2. Worked fine but I didn't like the setup as much.

If you guys find a cheap PS4 jump on it. You can do picture in picture with up to 3 total channels at once. Great for sports fanatics.

Just for clarity, you don't need a Playstation to use PS Vue.

I've used it. If the game is on an ESPN broadcast channel, it's better to watch it through the Vue app, not watchESPN.
Another cool feature of PS Vue is the unlimited DVR (but only keeps shows for like a month). You just "favorite" college football and you've just DVR'd every college football game on every channel Vue carries.

Correct and i'm not sure why they don't drop the "Playstation" from the product name...I have favorites for a lot of shows, football, ninja warroir, kids shows, etc and I think it will save it for 28 days. Nothing gets stored on the actual device. Pretty cool compared to the cable companies renting you the energy hogs storing crap on a hard drive and it running 24/7.
I'm using Fire TV. I can run PS Vue, Netflix, Amazon Prime movies, YouTube, watch espn app, etc

Was kind of asking about both. Vue on an Apple TV. Would like to keep that setup because it's pretty easy to stream/mirror anything else from the phone (how I watched the WVU game on FS1).
I do like the 3 picture in picture screens, but not sure I want to buy a huge playstation for it. I think I'll give the new gen a shot. I'll be at the VT game, but have some aways coming up.
