Most of those shows are about good, God fearing people who live in small towns are patriotic and support their local football or basketball team. Communities that take care of their own and serve their country.

I watch those programs and think, " Now that's what people mean when they talk about good conservatives values. Where everyone goes to church, eat together and watch sports as a family.

Nope.

If it isn't a live game I don't watch ESPN because of their politics. If I want to hear leftist politics I turn the channel to CNN. Or NBC. Or CBS. Or ABC. Or PBS.

So you aren't open minded to other points of view?

When I want to watch sports analysis I want them to talk about sports. The play on the field, the personnel moves, the coaching strategy, etc.

I don't want to hear about some idiotic protest by some ill guided idiot, or hear the latest SJW buzzword, etc.

I watch CNN and MSNBC from time to time. I read the BBC website daily. I get plenty of the misguided leftist point of view so I don't need to hear it when I'm looking for something other than politics.

No one with an honest opinion of Donald Trump is going to get a gig on Fox news.

Ann Coulter is on Fox News all the time and she's been very critical of Trump.

Jessica Tarlov?
Juan Williams?

You are an idiot - or at the very least that is an idiotic statement. That is flat out 100% B.S.- not to mention an ignorant and biased opinion on your behalf.

It IS possible that some people like Trump, just because you don't agree with the guy doesn't mean that everyone does. To say that no one who shares YOUR opinion will get a gig on Fox may be accurate; but there are A LOT of people honestly agree with him.

Stop acting like an F-ing victim and do something instead of biatching and moaning. If these f-ing protesters spent half as much energy doing what they think is right as they do "protesting" maybe they would accomplish something. Expressing your beliefs and actually acting on them are two very different things.

Exactly. Fox has always carried all sides of arguments. They dont need to add someone. CNN? CNBC? ESPN? Not so much. That said, Ive nver watched Jemele and really could care less what she thinks. The truth is its a 50/50 country. Its pretty dumb to constantly disparage half your audience---especially in an industry where customers are fleeing.

What's an "honest opinion of Donald Trump"?

Only one that agrees with you? Only if of the opinion that he's unfit, unstable, unqualified, unhinged yadda yadda yadda?

I'd suggest most on Fox, MSLSD or any of them have an "honest opinion" and they all voice it pretty freely. 03-yawn

30 for 30 promotes conservative values? Really? Not the episodes I've watched. And I certainly wouldn't characterize them the way you did. Maybe we've just seen two separate sets of episodes. Or maybe we define conservative values differently.

Uhhhhh, so what?

Even if true (I ain' looking, don't care) what does his momentary popularity have anything to do with "No one with an honest opinion of Trump will get a gig on Fox news"?

They're not even related to one another, far as I can tell.

Another massive...

Reading that story, if Shilling didn't sign away his rights to sue by taking some kind of severance, he should consider suing for unequal treatment by ESPN. I'm sure there are more details to the story but the way that author laid out the treatment of the two employees for very similar infractions was very different.
Firing for one. A slap on the wrist for the other.
