cutting payroll taxes
http://www.realclearpolicy.com/articles/...taxes.html

I'm beginning to wonder if there is lead in the water or something leading to a decline in intelligence among those working in the federal government and DC think tanks. This guy from the Milton Friedman Institute(!) suggests a reduction in payroll taxes and says it wouldn't impact social security and medicare.

He is actually adding new taxes on disability insurance and raising the cap turning it into more of an entitlement program.

Reducing taxes going into two bankrupt systems was one of the more ridiculous things Obama did and he had some whoppers.

RE: cutting payroll taxes
I actually think our income tax system has reached a dangerous point. It is close to half the people having no net income taxes. If it goes beyond that point, you can have taxation without representation as the majority can impose taxes on the minority. And we become like the banana republics.

We are basically already past that point.
