There is a reason i dont like using elements as a reason for why a team performs however they do. Since elements affect both teams equally it can also be argued that it hindered ulm from performing better as well.
Plus most teams should be prepared to play in rain so to me its kinda a wash especially if the game is close.
You can't be this dense?
Never mind...........
Look I understand the argument but i just hate using it. I didn't like it when some uh fans tried using as the reason we lost to navy last year either.
You really are..........
I really am what?

I'm not sure how the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, whose numbers are actually up slightly this year so far, loses the Heisman and doesn't become the number one QB pick in the draft. Plus both of Lamar Jackson games were on the road against p5 opponents, while average over 40 points a game and still hasn't thrown a pick.
Josh Rosen is outstanding but most of his great numbers this year come against downtrodden Hawaii. His adjusted QB rating suffer because he can't run while Jackson adjusted QB rating surpass Rosen because he can run. Add to the fact that Rosen has played both his games at home, a luxury that Jackson has not had yet this year.
The only reason i would put rosen ahead of him is because he is your more prototypical nfl qb. Jackson while still very good relies heavily on his mobility.
So far the only qbs in the nfl that are still playing who can be considered mobile qb's are cam newton and Russell Wilson and of those two only cam still uses his mobility a good amount of the time.
But you talked about the best QB in college football (The first quote from you in this post), not who will be the best NFL QB, so I'm confused. IMO Lamar Jackson remains the best college QB until unseated.
But see to me its kinda a weird issue overall.
For example tom brady is clearly the best nfl qb of all time. So to me even though he didn't perform great in college i would still consider him the best college qb of his era because clearly the talent was there.
I would argue the particular michigan team he was on did not allow him to achieve the greatness in college that he achieved in the nfl.
But isn't it all about the results? If Lamar Jackson is getting better results then Rosen, then he's the better QB, isn't he? Quite simple to me.
As for Tom Brady, surely the best NFL QB, perhaps of all time, no doubt. But using your logic of playing for a Michigan team that didn't allow him to achieve his greatness can be applied to the NFL as well.
Suppose he was drafted by the Cleveland Browns instead of NE and Belichick as the coach. We may never have talked about Tom Brady once if the draft had gone that way. Being drafted in the 6th round certainly gave many other teams an opportunity to draft Brady.

I agree with everything you just said. Which is why im saying its kinda a weird issue for me.
I would also add to your point that i think tim couch who was a great college qb was ruined by the browns, and could even have been a great nfl qb.
So you are correct it can be applied to the nfl.

I pick Memphis by 12 if the weather is perfect but if it's a light sprinkle and a farting frog it then Memphis wins by one

Big chance for AAC and Memphis. UCLA with Rosen and their win over AM are the darlings of the media a win vs them would be a huge plus

A Memphis win and a SMU win over 20 TCU would do wonders for our great conference

Apparently, some here haven't watched UCLA "attempt" to stop the run.
6.3 ypc allowed
330 + rush ypg allowed
Dorceus, Henderson, and Taylor should have a lot of fun Saturday.

You're, you are, and your. Google it.
As for your claim that you haven't missed a game in 23 years... were you using the "awesome" wi-fi from Arizona Stadium during the game? I was there. Flew on the barbie jet from Sugar Land with other Cougar Pride donors. What seat were you in?

don't ask what your conference can do for you, ask what you can do for your conference
I think they can. They'll need the crowd to help them with a full house that's rockin and their defense will have to stand up.
