Obviously you did not take his apology seriously > > > > > and probably not a lot of other things as well. Even so, it is funny.

It is so stupid that he felt the need to or had to apologize.

I don't think he cared at all, I think it was more he was advised to apologize by his coaching staff and OU as a whole, to make the public happy. He did nothing wrong he was just full of emotion. That is what college sports is all about.

I will say after a tough loss, it very tough seeing the other team go to your logo and make a big deal. No problem with them celebrating, but do not like that. That said, I doubt OSU hasn't done it too.

Can you imagine if every school who beat you at home would be able to, perhaps, paint a small version of their logo on your field or put a flag at the top of the stadium or something?

That's really nothing. At least he didn't drop rye grass seed like the SMU band did to TCU in '99:

Of course SMU lost that game 21-0....

IIRC, Sooners weren't too happy when the Buckeyes' band performed their script "Ohio" at halftime last year. Payback's a b**ch!

I remember Ohio State fans storming the field at Indiana, and tearing down their goal posts after securing a Rose Bowl bid ... talk about disrespect.
