How good was he? In the day freshmen didn't play with varsity. His freshmen team beat the varsity in a pre-season game. The varsity went on to win the national championship. His team beat the Larry Finch Tiger's for the national championship. He missed one bucket that was called goal tending. That was probably the best Tiger team ever.
I am going to guess that Bill Walton will be ok and continue just fine in life despite Memphis message board fans hating him for whatever unknown reason.
