Braverman waived by Chicago
Daniel Braverman (WR)

-The 2016 seventh-round draft selection never lived up to the training camp hype and was waived by the Bears, according to ProFootballTalk. Braverman caught just six passes for 40 yards in four preseason games. The Bears are expected to have interest in retaining Braverman for their practice squad.

RE: Braverman waived by Chicago
His skill set might fit with the Patriots who lost Edelman, then lost Amendola with a concussion last night. Amendola can't stay on the field.

I always thought he was ideal as an undersized Patriots slot receiver role. Obviously useful for punt returns as well

It would be incredible for Braverman to catch on with the Patriots. They get everything out of their players.

RE: Braverman waived by Chicago
With Edelman out out for the year and Amendola sustaining a possible concussion, the Patriots are running dangerously low on white slot receivers. Good news for Braverman!
