I see that Tulsa potent offense still has a powerful punch.

RE: Tulsa vs Louisiana
Defense finally got a couple of stops. O has scored every possession except one when President fumbled.

38-23 Tulsa at the half.

Band report: Band looked bigger, sounded loud, formations looked good. But the dang drum line was a struggle bus. Looked like a lot of young faces.

Looked like we were gonna get a 3 and out to start half then ULL converts and drives it down for a TD

RE: Tulsa vs Louisiana
Think Tulsa lost too many key defensive players from last season. More key than anyone realized. Plus Cajuns are not easy to stop.

That wasn't the vibe we got in the off season though. UL qb is good also.

True frosh RB Shamari Brooks runs it in for a TD!

Have some cushion now. 51-35 Tulsa. Need a stop here and it's about over.

It works, defense needs tons of work though.

Agreed. 66-42 doesn't look terrible. I was expecting 50ish to 20ish though. UL can put up points but I expected our D to be better than this. We didn't give up any home run plays, but did get gas he'd repeatedly.

Attendance sucked. But for those watching on the internet I'll say the home side was much better than the visitor side that you were probably looking at. So you saw the suckiest of the suckage.

A win is a win though and I'll take it! Reign Cane and GO TU!

ULL is trying to brand itself as the University of Louisiana. There already is the Tulane University of Louisiana. We were called the University of Louisiana up until 1884 when Paul Tulane donated money to the endowment and the University of Louisiana became a private school (Tulane University of Louisiana).

LOL here we go

You are a small private school. Stop trying to be something you're not. You are not the University of Louisiana. You are Tulane University OF, or HAILING FROM Louisiana, which is good to have in there because it identifies the geographic location of your school which is not readily evident with the name "Tulane".

I really liked the ULaLa brand. Changing it was a total screw-up.

Hahaha @ Irma = low attendance. Lazy bums and the Casino degenerates are a sure "bet" for subpar attendance at 11th & Harvard. I'm starting to think playing all weekday games is the solution. Keep the degenerates saturday open for dice, cards, and slots.

Maybe it's time for some PT Barnum sharades? Install a camera platform on the visitors side so it appears the house is full, cardboard cutouts for empty visitor side seats, bus in area homeless shelters, or new ticket plans that offer Casino currency based on points scored.

Haha Well they did have the boy scouts there! And it was "band day" so they had a bunch of high school band kids playing in the stands with our band. It helped a bit but not nearly enough. I'm not sure we would of had over 22,000 if we had beat OSU the week before.
