So it sounds like the line is much improved over last week... Fair statement?

GS is losing to New Hampshire. So it could be worse I suppose.

This is just terrible. I was hoping for a much tighter game.

Not sure why we keep putting willie jones in if we arent going to throw the ball.... Hate to see a great effort go out like this

Yes... And damian williams still has accuracy issues. Blew a couple td chances overthrowing receivers

We fumble the ball away on the first play and CU tacks on another FG.

Im disappointed we couldnt continue to keep up in this one... But we did much better than i expected. Our defense just ran out of gas.. and questionable offensive play calling didnt do them any favors.

Thought the defense played OK. Particularly in the 1st half.
We have some issues offensively. Showed the ability to run the ball in early downs against a really good CU defense (CSU also only scored 3 against them), we're going to have to develop more of a passing threat though.

On to an early conference game next Saturday against App. That will give us a better idea of where we're at than these last two games.

The score doesn't show how well our defense played. Our offense was just straight up bad. We can't pass the ball, withers needs to get this figured out fast. I would hate for us to keep wasting a good defense because our offense doesn't have the ability to sustain drives and up any points.

At least we come away without any major injuries. On to App. St.

Damian Williams accuracy issues hurt us a bit... But he did make a few good reads. If we can get our offense together we might be able to put together a respectable season.

I shouldn't have said offense. Our line is young but I think they are improving even against a much tougher opponent so I'm happy about that. Our run game did its job. It's the quarterback play that kept us out of this game.

Went to the game and had a blast. Defense is fantastic on the run. Pass defense is okay. Offense was pretty bad. Williams can't throw very well. Running game was average. Beat the spread and looked much batter than I ever expected. I feel better for the season as long as out defense keeps it up. If the offense can click we won't be bad.

The final score isnt reflective of the game. If our offense was even marginally better we might have won today. Our defense kept us close until the second half... just ran out of gas.

The biggest thing... We didnt embarrass ourselves like we did frequently last year. We actually looked like we belonged on the field against a good PAC12 team.

Im really proud of our boys. It has been a few years since i could say that. Way to D up!

Gave us a glimmer of hope that we might have a respectable season yet.
