Game Day: Rutgers
It is game day. Game time is 3:30. EMU flew out yesterday afternoon. https://twitter.com/EMUFB/status/906197083316776961

Weather should be nice. Actually a perfect day for football. Game started as say Rutgers by 3 1/2, now 5.

Game is on BTN and also WEMU (with Matt, Rob and this year Chad on the sidelines).

Two-deeps are on page 28. https://s3.amazonaws.com/emueagles.com/d...rs_web.pdf

Enjoy.

I'm getting very nervous after Purdue gave Ohio a beat down last night. We need to keep the game within 10pts

EMU and ohio are different. OU does not throw very well but EMU has the potential to pass every down.

Hope Rutgers watched that game and got a sense of comfort.

Pumped for this game. Hoping to see the Shaq and the running game improve from last week. Also gonna need to win the turnover battle, Hoying and company need to step up again. Time to show we are 4rEal!

Des Moines Register, Chad Leistikow prediction:
EMU 23 Rutgers 20.

Great minds think alike, I agree.

I wanna see the playbook open on with some creativity in the passing game, and some deep shots with Aristilde too.

Buffalo up 17-7 early in the 2nd quarter. Buffalo passing game working well and a 75 QB run for a TD.

Maybe Army's defense isn't as good as we thought it was.

RE: Game Day: Rutgers
Buffalo is really looking good. Their QB, Trea Jackson, and their WR, Taylor, are really good.

They have talent. Bulls could be a MAC sleeper team in 2017.

Hard to see emu getting the running game going in this game. I foresee them trying to use quick, short passes as an alternative to the running game. Last time I checked a 5-yard pass and a 5-yard run are the same thing.

Not going to get any running game going with the same zone scheme we tried last week. If Charlotte shut it down, Rutgers DL will destroy it. See if we incorporate more of the pulling stuff we used last year. Either way, highly likely Roback going to have to win it with his arm.

Meanwhile, Kentucky is struggling with Eastern Kentucky at home. Had to battle Southern Miss all 4 quarters last week too.

Yep. A game UB should have won. The UB QB fumbled in a drive which might have put the game away.

Stupid penalty on Williams. Seniors don't do that. He was running out of bounds, let him go!
