Porter has had three drops....if we're going to win this game, we need to make the easy catches.

I was encouraging him after making the 3 drops. I'm saying "there you go" as in that's how you get 1st downs.

RE: Game Day: Rutgers
You really can't ask for more out of our defense. Rutgers had 3 first downs, and two of them were on the same drive. The D really came to play, and did a great job killing any possible momentum Rutgers could've got after forcing us to punt into the wind and deep in our side of the field. Proud of those guys.

CC had a great description of the 2nd quarter: "Two days long."

Yep. The MSU/WMU game is starting the 2nd half as our game ended the 1st.

Diuly invisible. Turner providing a glimpse of run. Defensive effort UNBELIEVABLE!!

Yeah, Dieuly had a 15 yard catch on a great route negated by stupid hands to the face penalty by Bukoski. Rutgers has done well to take our wideouts away.

I love the strategy of picking them apart in the middle. Porter's drops hurt, but otherwise it's been successful. I'd like to see Porter and Daugherty on the field at the same time. Both are big mismatches against RU's plodding safeties.

This team, like most, have different offensive players who shine (or don't) each game.

Turner has looked real good in his limited carries.

He doesn't want to play ZONE in the defensive coverage. 03-lmfao

Glad to hold them to 3. Rutgers fans should be so PO'ed after that dumb read option. It killed their drive.

Lucky to get a stop there. Roback and Co need to figure out what they are doing on 3rd down and go get another score.

Sam,

This would be a big win for us. Porter doesn't need to make spectacular plays just make the plays...

They adjusted, now we have to counter. Pulling their OLine now, instead of zone blocking. Good stop.
