THIS.
Obamacare is a great deal for those that either qualify for expanded Medicare or get massive subsidies. For everyone else its a backbreaking strain to the budget. Many have gone from reasonable heath insurance costs to looking at health insurance costs that are larger than their mortgage. Given that the mortgage is the largest single expense for most families---a health insurance bill that dwarfs their mortgage is going to push them completely off the healthcare rolls. Every massive annual premium increase just creates a new wave of uninsured middle class families---who are still required to pay a penalty that is used to subsidize insurance for other people. Yes--thats right. Middle class Americans who cant afford their own health insurance MUST pay a fee to help other people get it for free. And Hillary wants to blame the Russians for losing large hunks of the middle class vote....no party in history has ever been so completely out of touch with middle America.

It created winners and losers. It's at best a zero-sum game. And it will be a negative-sum game when all the "cost control" measures kick in.

Obamacare has failed. So now Sanders wants to make us like Great Britain-single payer.

"...In Britain, the rationing of health care has meant prohibiting certain medications and limits on surgery for things like cataracts and knee and hip operations. Some medical boards have banned routine surgeries for patients who are obese or smokers.
The British have found rationing necessary partly because of the exorbitant cost of “free” medical care. Another reason is the shortage of professionals to provide this care. The number of general practitioners has fallen, and four out of 10 say they are unlikely to be practicing in five years. Just since March 2016 there’s been a drop of 5,000 nurses and midwives across the British health care system.
Many cite disillusionment with the quality of care provided to patients. It’s a legitimate concern. The U.K. ranks 20th out of 24 western countries for breast cancer survival. The U.S. is first. For ischemic stroke the U.K. is 25th out of 30 countries. The U.S. is fourth.
If that’s the kind of quality care Democrats are planning, they should know that it won’t come cheap. Democrats in the California state senate passed their own version of “single-payer” earlier this year. The plan was estimated to cost about $400 billion per year – more than double the entire state budget...."

Yup.

Right from the git.

But what does someone like sanders care? He'll be exempted as a member of the Senate, and he and his grifter wife have plenty of cash stashed away.

We're heading smack into a horrific two-tiered system, maybe 3 tiered. Until the number of practitioners dwindles to where tier 3 has no care at all.

Ain' socialism grand?!?

So get on the freaking stick. Get a freaking clue. Actually PASS something that is good for the people. You control all 3 branches and you can't do dick. The Republicans have fought tooth and nail to hamper and dismantle and weaken Obamacare every single step of the way and when they can do something........... FAILURE!!!!! They had no plan. NOTHING!!!! I said it last year over and over. So pathetic and inept. They can't govern. They are horrible.

Like the dems did when they passed Obama care... They also had *60* senate seats and still had to bribe their own to vote for that mess.

But you'll defend it no matter what.

What did they do in Minnesota? Oregon? Hawaii? What did they do before 2014 when the law went into full effect (and the exchanges did not make it)..

Haha.

Typical whiny leftist liberal.

Daddy? Mommy? I schit the bed really bad here at skool. Can you come clean it up for me?!?

What do you mean, NO?

Do it myself, or help someone else that's offering?!? I can't do THAT, it's their bed now!!! How dare they!

I AM OUTRAGED!!! SO...?, I DIDN'T LISTEN WHEN YOU WERE TELLING ME I WAS GONNA DONE SCHIT THE BED, OVER AND OVER AND OVER, but that doesn't matter NOW.

Because in the entitled, it's someone else's fault, somebody else needs to come clean up my mess and pay for it world, that's just simply how a child or adolescent's mind works.

Sadly, that describes pretty well the entire leftist movement on this issue and apparently our good friend on here as well. Sad.

Clean up your own backyard a'fore ya come bitchin' about mine.

Thx. 07-coffee3
