navigato needs to heat up in the tournament. makes us a very difficult team to guard.

gordon was money. watch that first half stretch of his if you dvr'd the game. he literally makes the play on like 7 straight possessions. gets a board-forces the turnover w good defense. scores the bucket. helps force a missed shot. sets a great pick for a team mates open jumper. gets an offensive rebound and a put back. sets another great pick. he was on fire as a team player. good coaching to give him that moment. to understand his toughness would translate in this game.

Rockets should have blown out this depleted Akron team - that was thin inside before it lost it's best 2 bigs to injury. still, to go into their house and battle through some hot akron shooting to get the actual blow out win was all you can hope for.

this is certainly the type of season you remember. a lot of strong wins. a lot of players contributing. a lot of games with good team play and chemistry. let's start another streak.

BSU has a weird schedule. Four of five on the road, followed by the upcoming stretch of five out of six at home, with the only threats being Kent and UT. We’re almost certain to make Cleveland but a West title isn’t a given.
