USA Today NCAAF Week2 re-rank
Saw this on another board and figured I'd post for CUSA. Not the AP, but I think it has good value of showing how our teams are being perceived, week to week.

Edit: As a conference, we average -1.5 rank change from week 1.

Agree. I think ODU is a top 80 team. No in the 50s.

Agreed. Just hoping we can give NCST a game as well, maybe a little much too soon though. Cincy, I believe we can pull that one off. Miami is much tougher than they are imo.

What publication is this from?

We dropped 13 points for losing to a team by 7 that we were picked to lose to by 10.5?

If the top of a conference don't win their games....

the bottom does not matter

Losing home games to Vandy and uk hurt 10x as much as FIU and Rice getting the donkey **** kicked out of them. No matter what the score was

As opposed to USM, who loses to the doormat SEC team at home, then their fans brag about running through the conference 03-lmfao

So tell me has S. Miss fallen so far that you are now happy with a 7 point home loss to a bottom feeder SEC team?
If you don't think those two home loses hurt this conference more than Rice or FIU or FAU or any other school picked in the bottom 1/3 losing by 100 points.

Explain to me why it's not?

We beat UK Last year and you act like it didn't matter. We lose to UK this year and you make a big deal about it. No winning with you.

What hurts CUSA more: Last years loss by CUSA champion to Vandy or this years loss by has been USM the UK?

I didn't see it as a single USM out, more a example of what must happen..... WKU crapped the bed last year against Vandy.

Its going to be hard to find where a WKU fan wasnt happy when you guys beat UK last year. WKU got road hard last year after the loss to Vandy, if you don't like getting ripped...... don't lose winnable games. I promise WKU will get ripped for months if end up losing to Illinois.

Find the post where I said S. Miss beating uk did not matter when it came to CUSA? What you will most likely find is s a post where I said if you **** the bed after that game...it does not help. As in it does not help the school who won it but then went on to lose 5 or 6 others. It's still a good win for the conference. I've said more than once the Western loss to Vandy last year was one of the worse.

Where I seem to differ from some fans. Some love to blame the bottom for the failure of the conference. I believe the top losing to teams like Vandy and uk and Ill and Indiana and all of those lower P5 schools hurt us way more. If your top schools aren't winning those games the bottom wont matter.

No one really looks at the bottom of a conference if the top are beating P5 schools. I don't change my mind when it's my school doing the losing.
