Presumably we are all big boys and girls who don't feel a need to get out panties in wad and try to ban everything that offends us. Not that anybody seems to care anymore, but free speech is protected by the Constitution whereas the right to never be offended is NOT----although there is an alarming increase in the number of those, who through ignorance of that document, seem to think that it is.
so are marketing repercussions. Stupid is as stupid does. If someone wants to admit that people get their "panties in a wad," then they should be smart enough to admit there are effects from that don't want to be in that atmosphere.
So to extend your point, why should anyone be bothered if the actual strippers show up, wearing provocative clothing? I'm sure that's what you want for YOUR children. Others, not so much.
Panties in the wad would be someone upset that someone else objects.
Really, why should it bother you? hmmm? Same logic. You're perfectly welcome to go to the establishment, with no repercussions on the family atmosphere of the game, conservative though you may see them. You're perfectly welcome to stop your silly whining, or not. And you're perfectly open to having your opinion diminished as you do that of others.
Does the existence of the strip club bother me? No, it's not in my neighborhood. What goes on inside, is not objectionable to me. But, things have their places. For ME, UT games isn't it.
Possibly the owner is just another very loyal UT alum but they should be socially aware enough to understand the controversial nature of their business.
