AD Craig Littlepage retiring ASAP; Asst AD Jon Oliver leaving the university. Wood's been there before, gained valuable experience at WKU and ODU. I'm just speculating, but I wouldn't say it's impossible.

He has a PHD from UVA and he worked in the AD's office there before going to WKU.

This type of stuff should really be cut out of this board.

I can't say I've been super impressed by him, but he hasn't sucked either. I do know several of the coaches really like him a lot and think he's done a good job.

I would be ecstatic if he went, and Bruce Stewart got the job at ODU, but I seriously doubt UVA would "stoop to the level of hiring an AD from lowly ODU"

Bruce would be my top choice as well. Though, I think Mark Benson would be their first phone call.

That would be a shame. Bruce is smart, personable, and has done a phenomenal job with football. If he doesn't get promoted soon, I imagine someone else will give him a shot.

That would be my guess and my hope as well. I think Mark would do a great job.

If Wood goes to UVa, I think he's done a fair job, but ten years should be the max stay for an AD. Mark Benson and Bruce would be close to the top of my list. Bruce and Mark are two people who have gone out of their way to help me out (I'm no big donor) and would love to see either one take the reins.

I think Benson is a smart guy and would be a good AD, but would like to go in a little bit of a different direction, away from the fundraiser in chief to someone a little more on the sports side. Its just one of those scenarios where we have one thing now, and I think injecting a little different type of thinking may give the department a little burst of energy. That said, I am no expert on this stuff, and don't know if the work Bruce has done would even prepare him for leading the entire dept.

"We" don't. Personally attacking players and coaches is not good for anyone and makes the posters look even worse.

Criticisms dont require name calling. Leave that at the school yard.

Huh when i said "we" i meant the board in general not singling out a poster. For that matter i don't single out players when they don't play well not usually. Just saying AD should be held to higher standards as a decision maker not less.
