A game late, and he really should've been in on drive 4 Saturday, but at least the right call is made now.

When your center can't snap, your OL can't block, and you give up 3 70+ yard untouched TD runs the QB isn't your biggest issue.

Pirate Radio had a poll on twitter yesterday asking which QB should start @ WVU. I mean seriously did they not watch the damn game? We have very serious issues and the QB situation is last on that list. They're in denial.

I mean Sirk should start, but unless somehow it one week the OL goes from a soft bunch of pansies to having some level of toughness it's not gonna make a lot of difference.

Except the fact everyone thought Sirk should've been the starter and to that point after three drives of doing nothing Minshew should've been pulled. I honestly feel we would've won the game if Sirk started or had been put in sooner and had a little better run/pass balance.

I agree, maybe he should. Hopefully it'll provide some spark. Unless both lines dig in and do their jobs it isn't going to matter. WVU will steamroll us like Tulsa got beaten up by Oklahoma State.

I'm not buying it man. We've got deep issues with both lines. Until that's fixed we'll continue to be bad no matter who's pulling the trigger.

RE: ECU Names Sirk New QB1
QB play didn't win or lose the game. Only thing that Sirk did worth mentioning was to get up when he got blindsided on that late hit. Had Minshew been in the game and got up like that, he would be starting this week.

This is a meaningless appeasement move by Coach Mo to try to demonstrate he is doing something. As bad as the game was, I can't say I blame him. He knows the real problems aren't easy fixes.

This. The Interception Machine was in most of Saturday's game and it didn't help. Going to be a long couple of weeks.

I still can't get over our OL getting pushed around by guys 30-40 lbs lighter than them. Our Strength and Conditioning program must suck. I even saw our Senior Wide Receiver get a TD literally pulled out of his hands for an interception in the endzone. How did our team turn into this so quickly?

We would've won? Seriously? We were totally outclassed and out-coached. The issues you highlight are all about bad coaching decisions. One team was prepared to play and one wasn't.

The JMU coach knew where we were stronger and most dangerous and he put a plan in place to neutralize that threat. It worked. Mo, and crew was lost and made bad decision after bad decision.

What's the O/U on Sirk interceptions Saturday?

I'm more concerned about him not getting an opportunity to throw the ball before he is tackled.

If you go take a snap behind that line you have my respect. You have to be a badass to take a beating like that
