This is all factual not delusional P6 stuff

A few years back we beat the Big 12 Champ #6 Baylor in the Fiesta Bowl. Nobody was giving us the Big 12 trophy. Matter of a fact we didn't get an invite (yet 07-coffee3).

I'll give you credit it is pretty amazing to beat up D-1 schools. Not sure why you guys didn't get in the C-USA before some of the junk they added.

Weak. Weak stuff.

my post or the competition?

All those long hours at the DW seem to have taken a real toll on your troll game. Shere has really stepped up in your absence. Perhaps you need a sit down with Pony to get your priorities in order...

admittedly that one month ban GTS gave me broke something in me.....I cracked in the 30 days of solitary confinement. I don't want to talk about it.

I heard it wasn't really all that solitary. How is Bubba these days? do y'all still exchange letters?

#1. Invest in your facilities, preferably your OC football stadium

#2. Win your bowl games - A must

#3. Attendance over 30k will be acceptable, anything over the better

#4. Defeat your big name OOC opponents regularly

#5. Good basketball

#6. Good baseball

#7. Top notch uniforms

#8. Hot cheerleaders

Is there any G4 school that checks all the boxes right now?

I'd say there's no more than a couple of AAC teams that could claim to check all those boxes.

I'd say there's no more than a couple of AAC teams that could claim to check all those boxes.

IMO, #1 / #3 are key. #4 / #5 are the next in line. If a school regularly gets to play in bowl games, they will inevitably win some.

#6 should say, again IMO, good third sport (baseball, lacrosse, hockey, soccer, etc.) - just something that stands out and is playoff or championship worthy (ex: Rice baseball).

#7 is not important for conference consideration but it should be! I would add school colors to this as well. The SEC fails at this - red or blue schools: Texas A&M, Arkansas, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Mississippi, Mississippi St, Kentucky, Florida, Auburn. That's 10 schools either red or blue.

--

All that said, I don't know if the MWC provides any schools worthy of jumping into a third or fourth time zone unless its a mass multi-grab like New Mexico, Air Force, Colorado St, UNLV, Boise St, and San Diego St along with BYU and Army.

National: BYU, Air Force, Army, Navy
Pacific: San Diego St, UNLV, Boise St, Colorado St
Southwest: New Mexico, Tulsa, SMU, Houston
Gulf: Memphis, Tulane, Central Florida, South Florida
Atlantic: Cincinnati, Temple, Connecticut, East Carolina

Our yard makers are digital this season. Seems odd to me.

This seems like as good a place as any. Is ODU good for -3.5 at UMass this weekend? Did they retain a lot of guys from last years' team?

Yeah we returned a lot but graduated our QB, also young at LB. Otherwise, we have arguably the best backfield in the conference, an experienced OL, big capable WR's, a very aggressive pass rush and pretty deep at corner and safety. All that being said. We had a ho-hum victory over a top 25 FCS Albany last week, 31-17. A lot of the game was in driving rain but most were surprised that we weren't able to run the ball better against them. There was not the "push" from the OL you'd want to see against an FCS school if you were planning on relying heavily on the run game while your new QB gets settled into his role. QB looked alright but turned the ball over a couple times forcing throws. The defense looked good though. 7 sacks against a team that really didn't throw the ball that much.

I think we'll win and cover the spread but take no responsibility if you put money on the Monarchs.

Pigskin Mania, so just 1 of 5 picks this week. It's down to you guys or Iowa over Iowa State. Either way, holding you responsible.
