I don't see how you can possibly rate UL's the lowest. People around here for some reason tend to think every FCS team not named NDSU or JMU is equivalent. I'm very confident that SELA is a lot better than both Houston Baptist and Cal Poly, and they might even be better than UMass.

Honestly, after that game I could see UL being 7-5.

Very impressed with NMSU and ULM. I do expect APP to bounce back nicely and I still think we take Wake on the 23rd. GO APPS!

They are not a Top 50 FCS program. You can't give up 48 points to a team like that. I would rank Texas State's win as the worst. UMASS isn't a great team, but they are always better than their record indicates. They play an independent schedule that's brutal year in and year out.

I agree SLU is probably better, we will find out in SLC play, but the UL game went down to the last play. While the HBU game was close they never threatened to retake the lead after halftime.

I rated Texas State above UL because of expectations, rather than quality of play. And, while I agree Southeastern was the toughest opponent of the four, you can't give up 514 yards. I was more impressed by Texas State getting the win than I was the Cajuns barely squeaking by.

Sounds about right to me. We won't know about USA for a couple of weeks. Friday is going to be brutal for us.

How are ticket sales for a top 10 team?

Better than average. Nowhere close to MSU a few years ago though. My guess would 25-28k. High school football is very popular down here and many people will chose watching their kids play over the Jags (traitors).

The casual fan down here doesn't know much about anything but the SEC, so I don't expect a ton of them out here either.

I forgot y'all play Friday. That would probably hurt us too even with a P5.

I didn't read it the same as you. He said this was the best victory meaning SE Louisana was the better opponent of any of the other wins.
