A lot of advantages, yes, but will take the best available, not the three you mention and not just an alum. Applewhite is a very good possibility. The season is still young.

Applewhite hasn't even coached a game and people are saying a big Texas school would want him?? HAHA!!! What are you guys smoking?

The one game he coached was a blow out loss! There is nothing to prove he is even a mediocre coach at this point.

A little to close to home?

Or too soon?

How long before tragedy becomes comedy?

Applewhite to Texas AnM by next saturday sounds about right. Aggies can't stand to see the longhorns beat them at anything, even falling into the cellar.

applewhite is a UT legend (hated at a&m) ...he is currently the head coach of the team (houston) in which their current coach they want fired badly was hired from.. (they wont dip from the same pond twice back to back) and applewhite has been a head coach 1 year

there is zero possibility its applewhite..anyone saying so int paying attention

and go to the A&M forum (texags) they are already calling for morris...note the deshaun watson personally credits morris for his success and a major role in their championship..
almost everyone sees his struggles at smu becuase its smu not him...

any sign of success, 7 win or more and he is gone...

I mean if they want to take a ****** coach off our hands im all for it. Anything that will make aTm worse i am all for.

Sumlin is a much better coach than applewhite could ever dream of, and we have seen how Sumlin craps the bed in big games.
