Watching GT move the ball at will last night against a legit SEC team makes me question Cook. Not one play under center for us. I dont know how he could have been at GT that long with the decent amount of success PJ has had and think I am smarter than him. GT beat themselves last night with poor ball security and kicker that is horrible.

I feel like we've tried these option concepts with Monken back in 2013. I know it's a different coach and everything but the rooted concept is the same. We lost some very winnable games that year trying to fold the flexbone into a shotgun set. I have hope though, because Fritz seemed to marry the two in his own way that worked.

That seems to be a recurring problem with Flex Bone teams. Poor Ball security, a weak kicking game, and an inability to run a 2 minute offense.

Not really when you think about them running 85 times a game. Kicking has nothing to do with a particular offense. We have a kicker in the NFL and had one before.
