We open as a 2.5 point favorite on the road. Anyone have new information on Lawry injury ?

Im sure he will play. Think he could have played but they were cautious with rain. Im guessing it was just tight.

Ray should be available, he could of played more Sat. They kept working him because he was tight. Hammy can be a pain and really hard to get loosen up. I was surprised that Coastal Carolina was able to run on UMass, hopefully we can do the same. We didn't run as well as I hoped against UA, maybe we can get the ball rolling up there.

The UMass game will be on NESN+ and free streaming from UMass. There is also elevensports and they claim to be in 55M households. Our star TE, Adam Breneman was injured during the game along leading RB Marquis Young, but not to the same degree as Breneman. Think Kolter went out. Hard to remember as disgust and dis-pare filled my body during the second half.

Quick note, think the free stream is blacked out in New England.

How bad was last night game on the fans psych? Whipps seat got fiery red hot.

For those wanting to watch on TV, Eleven Sports Network is 597 on FiOS in Richmond, but you may have to upgrade your TV package to get it. Someone already listed the DirecTV channel, I noticed. Hope this helps.

I was shocked to see -1 over UMass, very least I thought it would be -10. It is not like they have a real homefield advantage.

UMass is terrible, Tech was favored by 18.5 last year and ya'll beat them by 20 last year.

The oddsmakers must have seen our performance Saturday.

It's lack of known qb and lb depth more than likely.

idk, but as a UMass fan all I can see is darkness. The fire Whip threads on both boards and in multiple threads. It's Sept 4th and feel the season is over. I'll bounce back just not sure when. Basically on our board they are say you'll creme us. Albany is a better team than us extra. Extreme darkness, or is there a light. You know know what it is. It's a freight train heading right for us, or is it ODU and every other team.

Know we will come out of the blackness, just not sure when. They say if you creme us Whips gone on Monday. Others say no, it will be right after 1/14/18. Whips contract is thru 1/14/19.
