I dunno...I agree those two have a good shot, but la tech and ODU have a shot...

I would say we could too if we had an offense... I don't think we'll beat Nc state

ODU vs UNC or VT? Highly doubt undefeated lasts post week 3. I mean, I would LOVE to see that happen.

Well, Carolina lost to a very suspect Cal team at home. And we'll see what Tech has tonight vs wvu

I like that confidence though. Best of luck to ODU.

You can take Western out of the running this week. Going down bad to Illinois. We averaged barely over 2 ypc last night against a bad fcs team and this guy is wanting to hand the ball off 2/3 of the time.

We're in trouble. I see us losing badly to Illinois and then getting boatraced by La Tech.

Vegas has you as a TD+ favorite against Illinois.

This thread is ridiculous. ODU has the best chance because everyone else in cusa has a real opponent next week and we will likely lose them all.

Speak for yourself! WKU is headed up to Illinois on a mission! It might be mission impossible... who knows. 03-lmfao

That's gotta be Brohm carryover. Our guy thinks we have to go toe to toe with them. Us run the ball and us stop their run. We couldn't run against Eastern. How we gonna run against a Big10 dee line. We kinda stopped Eastern's running but only by letting their QB throw for around 400 yards. So I guess we stopped the run.

We've got people saying we 'hid our playbook'. I used to laugh and laugh when I heard the Troy gumps using that line. We'll find out Saturday if we hid our playbook against Eastern.

I just can't forget the Arky State fans when they had Harsin and he was trying to play power running football with a team of speedsters Freeze and Malzahn had collected. They were thrilled to see him hired away. Harsin came out of the Boise tree just like our guy did.

I got my negativity out of my system until this Saturday. The last time we hired a 34 year old he was in over his head and this guy looks lost right now. But Willie did fill the coffers with recruits and so far this guy seems to be killing it on the recruiting trail as well.

We'll find out if he's as lost as Willie was or crafty and just hiding it first game.

As of now, I think our game with SMU is a toss up. Both were able to easily handle their FCS opponents in week 1, and neither had to open up their offensive or defensive playbook. I think our teams look fairly similar. Yes the game will be at Ford, but that won't really give SMU a home field advantage. North Texas has traveled down the road very well in this series.

The Mean Green have a real chance to be 2-0 before heading to Iowa for a loss.

Well it looks like ODU and UTSA remain undefeated. Who's going to go the longest of the two? So far my prediction is looking spot on and I'm sticking with UTSA.
ODU has UNC and VT next.
UTSA has Southern and TXST. But I mean, anything can happen.
