WTH has happened to their program. That's inexcusable.

And Howard, a 45 point underdog, beat UNLV.

East Carolina may be feeling the pinch of new programs coming to D1. Charlotte, ODU, Coastal Carolina and now Liberty will be pulling away recruits.

Sounds familiar doesn't it?

There was a 2-year stretch in which we went 1-23. Let's not get too high up on our horse.

Don't have time to worry about what happened to them. Still trying to figure out what happened to us.

App State is another that way and even Georgia State and Georgia Southern could affect them as they recruit (or once did) Georgia fairly hard.

East Carolina could lose 100-0 for 12 straight games this year and I'd still rather play them next season than ANY of our CUSA bottom dweller members.

This is true, but ECU should be able to recruit better than most of the other small schools around them. While I know we hate to admit it, recruits see the AAC as one tier about the rest of the G5.

Does any data exist to back that up as an objective fact (well, as objective as recruiting data can be, anyway)?

The data that says they created the perception and we go along with it. P6 stickers and all.....
