The movers and shakers at ECU have more dollars than sense. I'm no expert at hiring, but when all of your revenue sports are down (and coaches have plenty of time left on the contracts)....who do you look at?

I feel for you. Ucf went 0-12 in football and basically sucked at everything a few years back. Our Canadian AD finally left and our new AD fired everyone. All 3 major sports. We look better in each now.

I wonder if part of ECU's problem is all these new D1 startups diluting talent in the region.

Get off the ledge. JMU won the FCS title last year. They're better than a lot of teams in FBS.

The difference (and problem) with ECU is that the Admin has proven that they are perfectly fine with keeping the failing status quo.

I love my school. Just hard watching us suck. I was lucky to attend when we won conference championships in multiple sports.

Lucky to grow up watching us win some stellar games too. We will be back one day....just not sure when.

Didnt James Madison win the FCS Championship last year?

Compher needs to go. Pirate Athletics would be a force with someone competent in charge. ECU deserves better.

If you're playing Alabama, I still be pissed about getting beat 34-7. If you're getting crushed by a fcs, that isn't acceptable. Really nothing else to say besides ECU needs to clean house.

Right. Most of us expected a tough game, with a loss being bitter, but understandable. But dropping the soap like this? Unacceptable. Jeff Compher needs to be sent packing ASAP.

Not for much longer. This constant failure to launch...wears a fan base down...

after watching all of the east teasm... we have yet to see ucf vs a decent team so i cant judge them..but jmu would have beaten evry other aac east team except maybe ucf
