Really? That's disappointing. So are they just going to keep showing reruns?

The station in the Charleston-Huntington market is a Sinclair station though. Still just ASN reruns.

It doesn't really affect me since I've got a Roku, but I'd still like one of our TV partners to have the widest reach possible. Older folks still just watch whatever they find on linear TV.

Ah I misread his post the first time. NON-Sinclair owned stations. The one out of Lynchburg looks the same as ever. I'll be disappointed if they're still playing reruns after this weekend. I expected to see some kind of rollout or promotions on the channel by now. Time will tell. At least there is a streaming option.

Well better than nothing, still I am used to watching games on TV, now all we have is BEIN and occasionally CBS for TV....

Cant see many sports bars around the country streaming a stadium tv feed via twitter off their computer. Thats how a program builds casual fans. Im thinking those days are pretty much over.

Mine does. I'll have the Facebook game on tomorrow and any internet only games. I put them on a 7' x 11' hi-def projection screen. Now, I don't have them on all of our TVs but for the Marshall games, I always have an option available.

RE: Stadium channel
I currently don't have a means of watching Stadium TV without spending money on something to do so. Since I am going to have to purchase something I would like to get the one that will make it as simple as possible.

What is the easiest and best method to access Stadium TV (one that is least likely to drop out on you during the broadcast and easy to get running)?

If the easiest way to access it is via Roku, then how much does a Roku cost? Can I pick one up at Best Buy?

Is there a monthly fee associated with Roku like there is with Netflix?

What is Pluto? Is that a station selection on Roku? How does that relate to Stadium TV?

Will all of the games for CUSA be carried via the pay-per-view conference web system or via individual schools (such as Monarch Media - $99 per year)?

I checked my AppleTV and it was not available on there. I have done Apple sharing in the past with less than stellar results. The signal would sometimes drop out and I would have to go back and restart everything resulting in a few minutes of lost game action which is very frustrating.

MWTEX: Watchstadium.com, Pluto TV, Apps on iOS and Andriod (upcoming)

If the easiest way to access it is via Roku, then how much does a Roku cost? Can I pick one up at Best Buy?
MWTEX: You purchase at BB, Walmart, Target..and the Roku Express is $29 and can get other options (Stick, 4k versions) at additional cost.

Is there a monthly fee associated with Roku like there is with Netflix?
MWTEX: No. It is a 1-time cost.

What is Pluto? Is that a station selection on Roku? How does that relate to Stadium TV?
MW TEX: Pluto TV is a streaming TV network that is setup like cable. They are on Roku, app stores, other streaming devices. Stadium has a channel on Pluto TV as well as the Big Sky Conference. Pluto is FREE!

Not sure if you are being sarcastic but my answers are underneath the questions. Also, Stadium just release the Apple app for iPhone and iPads...not sure if Apple TV is included.

Sounds like Roku is easiest. Yes you can get one at best buy. There are several models. Google is your friend to find the lowest price. $100 bucks or so is the top end / fastest from what I recall.

There is no fee for Roku. It is just a delivery method. Easiest way to think of it is like your smartphone with apps.

Pluto TV is an app with channels on it. It's sort of like Sling TV but the channel lineup is inferior. It does however have Stadium.

Edit - Just added PlutoTV to my Roku. Super easy. Stadium is on there. Didn't pay anything to have it.

is there a fee? It looks like it's only showing something called "The Rally" while yhe guide says a game is on.

No fee.

Also, the guide didn't update from their website. They are doing a spotlight on UAB football since this is their official comeback day.
Their game will be on later on the linear Stadium channel. Meaning OTA, App, Pluto TV..

Not sure where any potential sarcasm may have been implied, but no there wasn't any. Thanks for taking the time to respond to my questions.

Based upon your information along with a couple of others that followed after you, it looks like I will be purchasing a Roku, accessing Pluto TV via the Roku, and viewing Stadium TV via the Pluto TV.
