The Negatives:
Coach Lambert was out coached (the third quarter touch down by EMU was proof of that). Special teams play on both sides of the ball were comical (players running into each other, ball rolling to the kicker & ect.)

Poor self discipline by the players (two 15 yard personal fouls in the first half at key times). Quarterback fundamentals were sad (regularly throwing off one foot with a backwards motion, short arming his throws & no confidence. The team as a whole quite. We looked like a poor high school team. [/b]

The positives:
This was the first game and the defensive line was a positive.

We need a new OC really bad. Jeff Mullen is a clown.

You need more than a new OC. Defense looked okay.

Our coaching staff sucks, our AD sucks, and EMUs fans suck.

EMU fans have an excuse for sucking, they're from Eastern Mich.

We won't be good until we hire a new coaching staff. We won't hire a good coaching staff until we hire a new ad. We won't hire a new ad until we hire a new chancellor.

We have a lot of sitting and waiting to do until we stop being terrible.

I get the thought process but last year was their first bowl game in how long? Can't say what exactly Charlotte could get but I know it would be over 20K. Our current stadium would be overflowing with a couple thousand up by the Engineering buildings.

So you complain about THEIR fans yet the team you bring was not competitive with the team they had? Why would you not worry more about why you could not compete with a mediocre MAC team on the road (ODU had a similar opening day game two years ago at EMU and won) and leave EMU fans to worry about why they could not fill their ****** stadium.

Go look at my past posts. Our chancellor sucks because he is a cuckhold for the UNC system. Our AD sucks because she thinks a college athletic department should be run like a family business and Title XI is "at the top of her success list". Finally, our coaches have to act like it's the local baptist church and still screw up on the risks they take.

And all these things are within Charlotte's control. Has nothing to do with EMU, which is a horror of a football program. You should not give a damn about about what EMU fans do or feel, as you in in the middle of a dumpster fire created by those you put in power. Put your own damned fire out prior to complaining about the dog crap on the neighbor's yard.

Here's the thing, the academia side of the school is highly against athletics, the local media offers almost zero coverage because of our proximity to UMich (8-9 miles between stadiums) unless it's to diss on the school or sports. 12k is a whole hell of a lot better than games I was going to 4 years ago, we just need to keep winning. Plus I missed yesterday's game due to work or else that Stadium might have been a bit louder.
