I never saw that band but heard reports of defecation during concerts.

I saw them on July 4th back in the day with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blue Oyster Cult and The Outlaws at the Liberty Bowl. Don't remember any defecating farm animals.

I was there with you. Seen them about 7 times, including this past spring at the Orpheum. Unbelievable show on New Years Eve with Grand Funk at the Coliseum one year. I never saw anything like that either. Maybe he needs to attend the concert himself instead of relying on others accounts.

Unkept morons? Wow. They are in the Rock Hall of Fame and have a ton of Memphis history and he is complaining about something that never happened.

He, she, whatever. A misinformed person either way. Sounds like the racerman that whines on here all the time. Never attends anything and complains about everything. She admitted she never saw ZZ Top. Calls them morons and accuses them of something that never happened.

For years, one of our longtime posters here records his drum and percussion parts, then FedEx's the digital files to Billy Gibbons. He also has a standing invitation to attend their annual Tequila Shoot. He swears they are "good people". That's good enough for me.

Snowtiger is just misinformed.

O, it happened, all ye doubters of my WorD.

The presentation also included live animals such as a longhorn steer, black buffalo, two vultures, and two rattlesnakes. LOL.

My friend, along with his highschool buddies, was at one of those concerts at the Boston Gardens mid 70s, tripping his brains out and didn't know what the blank was going on when the steer took a poop. He still talks about it with great fondness.

OK..now that we got that out of the way. 'Snowtiger' loves her some ZZ top...but I don't need anybody's pearl necklaces . This is one of my fav of their tunes, even tho it's a cover. Nobody beats their sexy low rockin drivn fuzz fat sound. kick ass

Here's a great one.

I partied with Billy Gibbons and his then girlfriend Christine when he lived in Memphis back in the 80's. Fun times from what I remember.

Either they bought or had someone buy for them some jewelry. Then on that opening kickoff, hmm, a few slips here, a few sluggish steps there from a few players and the kickoff returned they now have some free rolexes, diamond rings, etc.
Of course not suggesting this is what happened at all, just speculating part of the reason the University doesn't want any part of it.

I think that deal would have had too many moving parts......

Well, that would be much easier to pull off if they were to just bet on the game in Vegas.

Any and all, from what I understand. But I believe there was a fine print cap at "the first $100k".
