It was a nice gesture by the Tigers. There is a special bond between the State of Tennessee and the State of Texas.

Davy Crockett took a lot of West Tennesseans with him to Texas including an ancestor of mine.

Interesting, not to derail, but I'm a direct descendant of Jim Bowie on my mother's side of the family. And I was born and raised in Memphis.

I went to the local Walmart and donated to the Houston Relief Fund today. For those that haven't heard, Walmart is matching every dollar donated. So please help our brothers and sisters in that area. Just go to the Customer Service area. You can use a credit card if you wish. I don't know if its tax deductable, but I kept the receipt.
