The rain and frigid weather scared majority of the fans away for us. Play it today and the crown is 37-45 thousand. We get spooked by rain lol

Can we agree that attendance smack is now officially dead?
How do you massively increase attendance across FBS football? Give every FBS conference champion a playoff slot like real sports. When every FBS game is a game for a playoff spot...interest will skyrocket. Which means money.

100% this. No one wants to watch a team if the entire system is rigged against them. Its BS.

Not even close. Every Tiger home game has been well over 40,000 with the highest attended game drawing 48,000+. Our 2 low crowds were weather related. Opening game was played in a driving thunder storm, remnants from a hurricane. Last nights game with Tulane resulted in a all day rain with 100% forecast of rain during the game, with temps down in the low 40's at kickoff and into the 30's by half time. Wonder how many USF would have drawn under the same conditions, or anyone else in our league for that matter. And any USF fan making fun of any schools attendance, well, really? Um OK.

1. You're undefeated and the highest ranked team in the conference. You should be Top 2 in attendance.
2. Your announced attendance seems to be "slightly" greater than actual butts in seats.

We play in a stadium 30 minutes away (+ traffic ) from campus.
And my point is why can't we talk about other schools attendance? People act like we are in the bottom of this conference in attendance.

Having a quality product generally does wonders for attendance. For example, UCONN was averaging 40K during their 8 win, unranked seasons in the old Big East. Many of us non-USF fans just don't understand the lack of support...

True, but we've never had a preseason ranking, finished a season ranked, or been ranked for more than 4 weeks in any season.

And in the Old Big East days, it was the same for USF too. Over the last 11 years, dating to when USF began Big East play in 2005, USF has averaged 40,545 fans.

The point was that UCONN was not a Top 25 team in any of those years. If you're not ranked at the end of the season, it's pretty much a garbage mid-season ranking. I suppose you wanna give Texas and Florida State credit for being ranked this year. To each their own I guess...

Announced attendance, not the same as butts in seats. I've been to and watched some of your games on tv, my eyes don't deceive me. And since you asked, that's what I mean in my above post.

That is a badly written sentence. Furthermore, content is unintelligible.
What I said was factually accurate. I am not sure why people get so angry about it.

Get lost... like your team.
Be grateful you're in Honolulu tonight and not at the Murph cause there'd be more tarps than fans.
