the cut to the stands for the kids cheering like crazy is sad. I mean, Rhody took you to triple overtime and you BARELY eek out a win. not much to celebrate guys...

Yep. He was down at the one but tired referees who just want to see the game end didn't care. Reminiscent of the BS to end the Akron game. It must be a MAC thing.

Remember when Kansas fans stormed the field against URI? I can't tell if the CMU fans are doing the same.

I think all of the other CAA and MAC teams feel fine after watching that one. Neither of them should keep anyone up at night.

Poor URI, so close...so very close...

RI could have had that one with a very easily makable FG. I still don't think RI will be a factor in CAA play this year. Maybe they eek out a couple wins with some luck.

So, which team gets the losers cup tonight:
CMU for damn near losing to RI
RI for finding a way to lose at the end when they had it in OT #2
GSU for losing to Tenn St.

My vote is GSU, though its a pretty tough call.

Delaware. Must always pick the Blue Chickens it these type contests, especially for how poorly they played the first half against DSU.

Fake GSU takes the trophy for tonight's biggest loser.
Nice new stadium. Big boy football. Loss to the 4th place ovc team who have never beaten an fbs team before.
A sobering reminder that you're fbs in name only.

I think I saw where UDel outgained DSU 240 to 80 yards in the first half and missed a couple field goals. I don't think they were ever really in a position to lose the game but they certainly didn't look like they wanted to win. But they only gave up 3 points all night, yes to a sh!t team, but it isn't as bad as GSU losing to FCS in opening night of their "new" stadium.

Did they have to do another cash drop to get dozens of people into the stadium?

Unfortunately, it looks like the buffoon who designed the remodeling of turner field forget to install cat walks above the field.
Now they have to pony up for a chopper to come down and throw the money at half time.
Careful kids, that chopper's going to make that cash FLY. You gotta be quick!

After following some of these games and scores, I feel a lot better about JMU's chances against ECU.

...and even better about winning back-to-back CAA titles.

I'm very curious about how tonight's games made you more confident vs ECU. I understand how some caa teams looked "meh" and not likely to pose significant threats to us, but how does that make ECU less of a challenge?
