Forget trying to cash in your voucher. They don't have the bags. Instead they'll give you a plain plastic baggie.

So save those vouchers for the UCLA game. Hopefully customs releases them by then.

Me, too. We have made leaps and bounds with our new President and Athletic Director, for which I am eternally grateful, but we are still not good with the details at the Liberty Bowl. I know part of it is having different entities in charge of different aspects, (University staff, private security, vendors), but by gosh, why is it so hard to have everybody on the same page for the Game Day experience?

From completely unmonitored and somewhat dangerous bouncy houses, to lack of proactive planning for extreme heat games which almost cost some folks their lives a few years ago, to the Liberty Bowl hired staff not being able to answer the most basic of questions about where something is or where an event is, to no visible University staff ever seen walking Tiger Lane and observing what is happening like an ordinary fan....I will keep suggesting some of these things need a good look-see.

Don't worry about picking up the free Tiger clear bags again this week. They don't have them. Hold on to those vouchers!

Yeah, I just got the email also. Bags still not in. I don't know whether to get mad or laugh. I do know it ticks me off to put my binoculars is a clear bag and take them out of the case they come in. They're making the HD flatscreen look better every year.

Due to the unforeseen severity of the weather events over the past several weeks, the clear plastic bags that were slated to be given to season ticket holders at the UCLA game on Saturday have not arrived in Memphis. We have purchased additional clear bags that you can use for this home game, so please keep your voucher handy and we will inform you when the permanent bags are available.

Yeah... Funny how walmart and Target and The Tiger Bookstore can get them, but the "Ticket Office" can't seem to. Is this a ploy? "If we keep on delaying for the first few weeks, everybody will say 'screw it' and go buy one at the store, and we will only have to come up with about half of what we promised."

My wife is pissed enough that she can't bring her camera in now due to the impracticality of it all, and my mother and stepfather are pissed that they can't bring in their standard sized chairbacks... There better be a free damn $6 bag outta tha deal... or so I'm told. 07-coffee3

Saw several ladies that didn't get the memo about purses get turned away at the gate. It was pretty entertaining, sorority girls and the looks on their faces after huffing it to the stadium in platforms.

While we are bitching, does the Grill Zone actually exist this year? The vague description of it in the University Game Day blurb says it's on Tiger Lane near Bear Bryant Drive. Well, we never saw it, and we carried a nice cooler in all prepared to let our cooler be valeted during the game. In fact, the University guy in charge of the Pipkin Bldg and several other official folks in there had no clue whatsoever about what I was talking about, and just suggested we go search for it on Bear Bryant Drive. Even Boob Winn had no idea what the Grill Zone is. They were all clearly irritated that we even brought up the subject. So, we ended up finding some friends who would keep our cooler until the game ended.

I frankly don't give a darn whether there is such a place or not, although it sounds like a cool idea, but this is just another example of someone not proofing their own media blasts on GoTigersgo, someone not giving all staff clear information, and the bigwigs being too damn busy for a regular Tiger fan who is just trying to rely on their information. Does anyone know the answer to this?
