Parking Options for Non-Donors
Happy 2017 Season All!

What is the best option for tailgating if you are not a donor?

The last few years we went behind LA Tan, but now that that is gone we are looking for new grounds. I know there is that overflow lot for Fatty's across the street, not sure if you can setup there or if they patrol. Really don't want to be out by the convo center.

Any insight would be helpful.

Convocation lot is always easy, and usually a decent crowd.

What's wrong with the Convo lot?

I used to park where the old movie theatre used to be because it was close to the stadium but they turned that into a donor lot. I think only non-donor parking is Convo lot now.

If you get there early, you can park along the grassline.

Honestly you shouldn't have a problem getting near some grass if you really want to. The east side of the lot, closest to the stadium, has grass but will fill up immediately. I'm pretty sure there is grass on the west edge of that main lot though and that probably won't get taken very quickly since it's a longer walk to the stadium. The south side has that huge grass area but cars are driving in and out near that until the lot fills up.

there is room to set up there and for cars to drive in.

Dang, is the dollar video lot is finally off limits? Well, it was a good run while it lasted.

I agree, I friggin hate the convo lot and I'd kill to bring the east lot to its former glory days. But hey, gotta make that donor money.,

ALSO, my first post in FOREVER. IM BACK BABY

Just wondering why do you hate the Convo lot for tailgating? Over by the first few rows by the soccer/track complex its been quite lively the past few years.

Wish they would put a stage and a band out in the Convo lot, though that would draw people away from The Yard.

I almost always tailgate in the convo lot and I can think of several quick reasons...1) it's more enjoyable to tailgate on grass, 2) it's windier than all hell in the convo lot, 3) the big time serious tailgaters are generally in the lots closer to the stadium, 4) there's more going on the closer you get to the stadium, 5) if you want/need to run out to your car at halftime it's not really doable if you parked in the convo lot

Parking Options for Non-Donors
Next year, I will most likely give up my season tickets and buy single game tickets for the couple games I can attend. However, I will still be a donor. I don't think I can buy parking without season tickets. Will my only option for parking be the Convo?
