30k+ on a Thursday vs a bad FCS team...and for a UC team that is coming off several bad years in a row

shoot, 10 years ago that would have been unheard of

Agreed on all the above. Major complaint about scoreboard was never showing number of team timeouts?

The Band? Improved, rotating box during pregame still sucks!!!!! Would it hurt to play at least one song and formation at halftime to the East stands? After all the east side has the bigger portion of the attendance! I don't know whether the big cloud hanging off to the west, the band or whatever, but the timing of the pre-game was all messed up. Skydivers having to pinpoint landings in 1/4 of the field, team entering field before video was through. Something was off? Band on the field before ending of 1st half, chased off. It was confusing about how much time was left, so I'll give them a break on that.

I had the same complaint about the time outs until the nice lady seated next to me pointed out where they were shown. Problem is, despite the size of the board, they are so small you need a telescope to make out the numbers.

And I had the exact same reaction to the sound system - had a hard time making out what the PA guy was saying - not that I cared that much - even tougher time making out the officials comments, mostly indecipherable.

Band was great, new board is great - students were terrific - team was dreadful (see most peoples previous comments).

Guy behind us talked about starting a collection to pay ESPN to NOT show the Michigan game.

And the crowd - if there were 30,000+ I'd like to know where they were sitting. 10 minutes in to the first quarter my grandson and I looked across to AP's side of the field and we both commented that both the lower level and upper deck were less than half full. Hard to believe every seat on our side was taken.

I assume it will get better!

Yeah, you got to be realistic about these things.
