Last year, FIU asked UCF if they could wear white jersey so the few fans they have can enjoy a white out and UCF said no problem. (UCF wore their normal dark jerseys and then beat FIU by 39 pts).
This summer, UCF asked FIU if they could return the favor and allow UCF to wear white jersey for this game and FIU said no.
I'm very curious to see what happens in this one. FIU has a big-name coach now, but I've never really been impressed by Butch as an in-game coach. Definitely a gifted recruiter though.

Looking forward to the game today. I think UCF clearly is the more talented team, but thankfully this year the team isn't "coached" by Ron Turner. Last year's game was Ron Turner's last, and it was clear the team had given up on him. He started our backup QB out of desperation and he wasn't ready. This year I think the game should be much more competitive at least. I've enjoyed the series with UCF. It has produced some good games (and some UCF blowouts). Hopefully we can continue the series soon. Good luck, today. Hope both teams remain injury-free.

UCF was told no this summer and you still planned a white out for this game?! Smart!
Also heard Coach Davis spoke to Ark State coach about how they limited y'all to 14 yards rushing, the response was "we just showed up".
btw there's a mistake in the original post. Set your DVR +1 hour if you want to see the first half. Game won't end before 10:30. Hopefully with the Memphis game behind us it'll be a little better than normal.
UCF should win but FIU will give them a better game with Butch at the helm. He will recruit well down there but he might still not have the horses to match UCF this year.
