I hope, but still disappointed Doc promised big changes after 3 - 9 but made few.

I think for the first half. Anyone with HALF a brain could see Reaves DID NOT lower his head it was incidental contact.

Typical crap from Bill Legg, run up the middle two times and pass with a small lead. This is the kind of play calling that loses games.

Marshall may lose this game because of piss poor play calling by Bill Legg. Doc should have fired him at the end of last season!

The lack of correct personnel usage in the backfield was absolutely abysmal. You have your 5'10" quick hit back in when you are running it up the middle, trying to run out the clock???? Really???

Close game, but both teams played like crap in a lot of ways. Poor coaching on our side with some bad play calls, abysmal clock management, and 'special' special teams. No reason for a team to score 26 points and give up only 10 on defense yet still lose. Yours tried the ole 'playing not to lose' strategy and it nearly cost you. See you next year in Oxford.

Why not have the common ******* sense to realize that we got beat 26-10 without some incredible luck that we can't count on every game. I'll take the win but it was ugly and Doc and Legg tried to give that game away as usual. Doc has zero instinct for the kill. Hit em till they're down and then hit em twice as hard and three times as often.

Wow, I didn't expect to actually win the game. Very solid play from all levels special teams, defense and that 98-yard drive. I think there's real hope here.

Hopefully this is the spark that we need. I don't think this means that we will win next week, but it's possible as 6 and 6 or better season could be in the cards. Who knows, that was a pretty good little Miami team that we beat today.

What concerns me most, the offense only put up 10 points. That should not be lost on Herd fans for the rest of the season.

Thoughts on Marshall...

Offense:
Oh boy... We have very good receivers. Thats about it... Our top RB did pretty good and the overall offense can drive on occasion, but we are very inconsistent. Litton at QB looked like the weak link tonight.

Defense:

Calling it now, top 3 in conference if not the top D in the league this season. We looked very good, especially in out linebackers.

Special Team:

What can I say? Special... Also 14 points on 2 kick-off returns for TDs.
