FWIW, despite the expected heavy rain the line on the game has not changed today (still at -26.0 Tigers).

Tough knowing who will win... Could go either way, I guess.

This game should be moved to Saturday. Remnants of Harvey will have heavy rain and thunderstorms in Memphis and surrounding area all day with the worst to hit right about game time. Predictions have been made of 4-6 inches of rain in the Memphis area with winds 30-45 mph. Many Memphis fans are pizzed that the game hasn't been moved, so far the game is still on. The huge crowd that was expected for this opener (45,000+), will now dwindle to, at best, maybe 8-10,000, if that many. I'm sure CBS (CBSSN) has a major hand in this, but our administration should take into account the safety of the players and fans and move the game to Saturday, regardless of what CBS (CBSSN) says. And yes I'm going to be there, but I know that of the 50 or so people we have in our tailgate group, only about 10 or so saying they're coming, the rest have already said they weren't coming to the game. CHANGE THE D@MN GAME TO SATURDAY!!!!

You are a hardy soul for attending the game. I wish they would change the game to Saturday, but it appears it will take place Thursday unless lightning or flooding is greater than expected

supposedly the worst is past right at 8pm with just periods of rain behind. I'll get there right before 8 and hang with it as the weather goes. if we get a lightning delay, i'm back to the house though. this is extremely stupid to be doing this game today though.

I agree. Should have postponed to Saturday. This is on CBS.

This storm has been pounding us in east Alabama for 2 days now. Stopped a few hours ago. No lightning the first day, but plenty the second round, last night. Maybe you guys will get lucky on that front, at least. Stay safe.

I'll be wearing board shorts and water shoes along with my rain jacket and poncho. Ready to be soaked for 3+ hours.
