It's the strongest growth since the first three months of 2015... Who was president back then?
3% growth is great, but we have yet to see if it can be sustained. I'm not rooting against the economy, I would be thrilled if we can keep up 3% growth annually, but IMO, it's too early to be celebrating.
By the way, if you actually bothered to read that LA Times headline you have included, you'd see that the article talks about 3% annual economic growth... not quarterly.
No, let them celebrate early. It seems like the only thing they are good at. Remember the celebration for repealing and replacing the ACA. And asking them to read is asking too much. They are too busy buying into the lies the president spoon feeds them. Like his lie about 3% growth never happened under Obama. Total fantasy land with these fruit loops.

you guys are two peas in a pod now. sad.
Truth will do that to people. Perhaps you should try it?
So will butthurt. Sounds like the two of you tried that.
Hey butt munch. When are you going to fix that broken record. It keeps skipping and playing the same song over and over again.
15 1/2 more years.
MUH STILLETOS!
MUH MAGA HAT!
I think you need to shove a snow cone up your rectum to ease your butthurt.

3% annual growth happened zerO times under that incompetent fool.
Socialism has that effect on things.
And give us all a heads up when this president spoon feeds anyone near the number of flat out lies like his incompetent predecessor.

Right and it hasn't happened under trump either. But it's irrelevant because we're talking about one quarter and not one year.
CB was 100% correct. Obama had 5.2% growth for the third quarter of 2014 and 3.2% for the first quarter of 2015. Both hire than the last quarter...which basically is Obama's regardless.

tsk tsk tsk, name calling. But it is one of my favorite names to call someone.

That optimism may very well start declining too because of the lack of policy that caused it to rise.

His policies are out there, and optimism is indeed what has spurned this GDP growth, doesn't it always? All the stock market is is speculation, if buyers feel good the stock market is good, if they don't it goes down. Not too complicated to understand.
While not getting Obamacare(not going to call it ACA, that name is laughable at best)taken care of or tax reform, there has still been tons that has increased optimism. Increasing offshore drilling, the Obama halted Keystone pipeline deal, trade deal with China, getting out of the ridiculous Paris Climate Accord(what a joke that was), imposed import tariffs on Canadian timber, etc.
The achievements are out there if you do a little simple research but I don't expect that. And I expect some smart#@% rebuttal to the above points but they are the facts whether you like it or not.

We need to do much better than 3%, but 3% is better than any quarter since what, 2006?

Isn't is just incredible that they didn't work at all until after he left office?
I wonder if there was a new variable inserted into the mix that changed things?
They didn't work at all? I could have sworn we've had something like 90 weeks of constant growth.
That 90 months of growth wasn't even enough to sustain the population with Americans. Barely anyone got a piece of that. And the technocrats in Europe did even worse.
