Glad to see Williams stepped up at the safety spot opposite of Allen.
Will be interesting to see if embery or olootu is the nickelback. The secondary is uber loaded.
Buirge has taken most of the reps as the nickle in practice. This secondary is loaded
I've never remotely seen him get serious time with the 1s when I've been at practice. I guess we will see!

RE: The two deep is out
On the topic of our own two deep...
Secondary is stacked
Defense is way, way better on paper than the offense
First year in a while that we haven't had a tall WR threat. Guessing we'll see more passes to the TEs in the red zone
I'm hoping we have 3-4 kick or punt return TDs this year. Huff/Blake and Beebe should good. Didn't most people think Jonathan Parker would get some KR play?
The Childers hype was exactly as expected...every camp there is some new QB that people want to play just because he isn't the guy from the year before. Funny that position will be rather deep for the next few years...Graham, Santa, Thompson, Hall, Childers will all be there again next year.
Can't imagine Ference isn't the punter from everything we've heard.

I still think Parker will end up being one of the KRs

I was surprised to see Blake listed. Seems like a better spot for DJ Brown or Wesley (or Parker as you mention.)

Kent State was looking for walk on offensive lineman AND wide receivers just four days before their opener against Clemson. Good luck.

Funny, but should definitely be in a thread of it's own.

I'm sure some of this depth chart is to throw off BC. Blake is not one of the better return men on this team. It wouldn't surprise me to see Embry returning kicks.

Yeah usually there's a season ending injury or two in fall camp and we've appeared to avoid that

In Carey's press conference he didn't name a starting KB. I am sure BC is quacking in their boots

We're playing BC not Oregon.

Yes. BC is a quality opponent but I just feel like people are approaching this as a bigger mismatch than it is. Niu has probabaly 4 to 5 harder opponents than this

You know how they've played against very good defenses. Not well. If we still had Lynch or Harnish it would be different but we don't.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if Santa ends up playing that he turns out to be better than Graham in actual game play.

True but I think it has equal to do with shooting themselves in the foot and being too conservative than it has by the defenses being very good.

I have been reading a lot about their Running Backs. They talk very highly of this group and I'm expecting them to pound the ball by committee on Friday.
