Jordan Taylor will be emergency backup QB for last Broncos preseason game
Broncos don't want to play their #1 QB (Siemian) in the final preseason game and their #2 QB (Lynch) is injured. So, they plan to have their #3 QB (Sloter) which probably not make the final cut, play the entire game. If he gets hurt, they will likely have Jordan Taylor be the emergency backup.

The article has a few quotes from Jordan who hasn't played QB since High School.

What is Jordan's depth chart situation? Is he a top 5 WR? Should be! Hope he has breakout season.

Jordan is now expected to make the Broncos 53 man roster after some nice catches in the preseason. He's been with the Broncos in some capacity for about 3 years. When Peyton Manning was recovering from an injury in his last year (2015), Jordan was his primary practice target for weeks (as a member of the practice squad). He credits Manning for helping him fine tune his routes. For his part, Manning was very appreciative of all the extra work Jordan put in to help him get back in shape and ended up buying him an expensive suit to say thanks.

from a FFB writeup:
… Jordan Taylor appears to have
emerged as the team’s third receiver, and
while he shouldn’t put up viable fantasy
numbers, he looks like a legit NFL receiver –
6-foot-5 and wins on contested balls. He
caught a touchdown at San Francisco and
converted a key third-and-10 against Green
Bay on a back-shoulder throw. He could be
better than either Thomas or Sanders on
fade throws around the goal line.
